The short version

Some links to software vendors on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and end up buying, we may receive a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way — commissions are paid by the vendor out of its own margin, never added to your bill.

How the links are marked

Affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which tells search engines the link is commercial rather than editorial.
Every guide and tool page carries a disclosure box, so the commercial relationship is visible on the page itself and not buried in a legal page.
This page exists so the statement can be checked against the links.

What commissions never affect

The order of our picks. Tables are ordered by what a team of a given size actually pays and how well the tool does the job.
The numbers. Every price in our tables comes from a vendor checkout or billing screen, not from a commission schedule.
Which tools we cover at all. Several tools we recommend have no affiliate programme — some we mention specifically because a cheaper or free option is the right answer, and there is nothing in it for us.
"Do not switch" advice. If staying on the tool you already pay for is the cheaper call, we say so, even when a switch would earn us a commission.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment for placement, reviews or a higher ranking.
We do not publish a review of a product we have not opened, bought or trialled.
We do not hide a commercial link behind a plain editorial one.
